Great friendly fast service, the food is amazing. This is my favorite place in Chapin hands down. Highly recommend
Went for a special occasion. Called a day in advance as we were having a party of 18 people.
When we arrived, the table was not ready so that had to put something together quickly. They added a table to a booth and asked to separate our party. Problem #1.
When we finally sat down, it took over 10 minutes for our waiter to come, bring menus, and introduce himself. Problem #2.
The drinks took forever. The food came out very slowly. Some were almost done eating by the time others got their plate. My 4 year old’s kids menu was the LAST plate to arrive. Problem #3.
Please keep in mind, I spoke to the staff multiple times throughout the evening. One waiter even knew me from previous visits and was our waiter at a previous event where we had a similar crowd.
At the end, I paid the $550 bill and as I was walking out, one of the waiters says “Sorry. Next time you come we will make sure you have a better waiter and service”. My response was “Don’t worry. There won’t be a next time.”
Why? Because this is not how you run a business and treat consistent customers. We have spent money there plenty of times before and spending a lot of money this time. The waiter showed zero care in our frustration, the manager never apologized, nothing.
Very unfortunate. I get businesses have bad days or super busy days. But that is no excuse to deliver such terrible customer service.
This place is run well. And it beats Taco Bell in nearly every metric.
The food is exactly what would want from a Mexican restaurant. It’s relatively inexpensive and tastes good. The service is very quick. It took only a few minutes to get my meal during a lunch rush.
This place was really busy when we arrived. It was really hard to find a parking spot. Once we finally got one, we had to walk a bit to get to the entrance. After entering we had to wait a few to be seated and then a few more to be waited upon. When our orders were placed we didn't wait too long to receive our meals. My guests ordered the Thursday special: Burrito California & I ordered the # 14 Combo. Everything was going great until halfway through the meal, one of my guest pulled out a broken piece of from another plate from somewhere else. We stopped eating and waited for our waiter to come back by. When he finally did, we stopped him, showed and told him about what happened. Shortly after that another guy came to the table and told us that a plate had fallen and broke and they thought that they had gotten up everything. He also told us that her meal was free because of the incident & that he was very sorry about that. He left our table again and came back very quickly to our table once again telling the three of us that all of meals were free because of this happening. We all thanked him and told him that he did not have to do that-that we would pay for the other meals, but he insisted. We thanked him again. We did leave a $20 tip. Thanks to them again. You really don't receive that nice of courtesy nowadays.
I ordered wings and they were so hard it was like eating rocks which made me down my drink all in one swallow so the wonderful server brought me a giant frozen mug so I wouldn't run out again great service normally great food not this time but the service was top notch
The food is excellent, service is spot on, and the atmosphere is good, just about every visit. We eat here too often. However, it's a good value and we don't have to discuss what's for dinner.
The best Mexican food in all of South Carolina. Always hot, loaded with flavor, authentic and delicious 😋
The staff is always friendly and professional. They make you feel like family with the level of attention they bestow on you. The drinks are huge and the serving size on the dinners are usually so generous that you'll likely be taking some home with you.
Great food, great prices, great service...... that about sums it up.
Always a friendly atmosphere and service great! Love my Pollo fundido! The r food is great and top shelf margaritas are awesome!
